Brisbane community Radio station 4ZzZFM's is again proud to present at the earlier month of September this time, one of it's major fundraisers now in it's eighth year – the iconic reggae event Dub Day Afternoon

Internationally renowned dancehall ragga reggae act NeaCombo Diffuzion all the way live and direct from Noumea, New Caledonia performing for the first time in Brisbane

Top ranking Sydney reggae sound crew Firehouse with selecta/MC L Static and selecta Nardo always rock a dance with big bad reggae, dancehall and exclusive dubplate selection. They also run weekly reggae Radio show Fire On The Wire on 2SERFM

The tunes Darky Roots are a delight to the ear, music for the soul, rich in their trademark vocal harmonies and blended with heavy bass lines, catchy melodies always carrying conscious lyrical meaning

Brisbane foundation reggae sound crew, Rhythm Collision Sound have supported international reggae artists such as Chaka Demus & Pliers, Luciano, Ritchie Spice, Bushman, Jah Mason and Tippa Irie. With up to the time selection from Basmati of 4ZZZFM’s reggae dancehall show The Yard alongside Zimbabwean MC Cotts Peppler

From the hills and valleys of northern New South Wales, Fyah Walk have emerged as one of Australia’s most authentic and respected reggae acts reaching out to all music lovers with a fusion of authentic Virgin Islands styles and their own fresh, contemporary, high energy style

DJ Wade is originally from Seaview Gardens Kingston Jamaica, home of Elephant Man, Bounty Killer and Supercat. He is a DJ/producer with international reggae label Das Vibes (Jamaica/Germany/Australia) as well as involved with running www.dancehallreggae.com.au

Paua, a newcomer to the Brisbane reggae music scene whose roots originally lie in Aotearoa/New Zealand and the nation islands of Fiji. For Paua the music is natural and their melodies and harmonies float on deep grooves and rhythms that are staples for the soul

Rudekat Sound are the selecta/MC branch of Rudekat Records, Brisbane’s indie reggae/dub/soul music label. Featuring label boss Quinzalez running tunes alongside the charismatic Jamaican ragga MC Sunny Dread

Gold Coast/Byron Bay outfit CC the Cat bring their own upsteppin style of rockin reggae and dub with anthemic and soulful songs protesting against the system, celebrating community and the healing power of music

Originally from Cape Town South Africa, Gregwise has added to his reggae collection throughout his world travels with reggae music produced in the foundation era by the Studio One label and steppas rhythms by UK labels such as Conscious Sounds and Scoops being favourites

Champion Sound take reggae soundsystem culture to all regions of Queensland with DJ/producer Chris Jay and crew mentoring and engaging with communities statewide having a particular focus on youth development

Samedi Soundsystem crew with producer Vir Asan, MC Potato Master and selecta Baron One Way mash up the sounds of Jamaican reggae, dub and dancehall rhythms with damn near everything and work their way through the sounds of bass culture in a true dubwize sense

Lao Mirador mashes it up late on a Saturday night on Radio 4ZZZFM mixing up reggae and dub styles across the 1970’s and 1980’s eras

Zimbabwean DJ/theatre producer/dance choreographer, Ras George, a massive identity within the African community in Brisbane adds his own unique reggae afro dancehall style. He is also the force behind Ghetto Fire Radio
